When you arrive to Prehab Massage, you'll be warmly greeted by our front desk staff. Please arrive at least five to ten minutes prior to your scheduled appointment so you can complete your client intake form. Arriving early allows you and your therapist enough time to properly discuss and assess your goals for your massage session.
Once your therapist has been introduced, be ready to relax. Your therapist will guide you through the massage process and begin to develop a massage routine specifically designed to meet your health goals that day.
Many clients have questions or reservations about the massage process and those are quite normal! Some of the more common questions will be answered below.
Do I have to completely undress during my massage? Absolutely not. We believe that your comfort level is the highest priority at Prehab Massage. We do not encourage clients either direction.
Will I be covered or draped during my massage? With the exception of where the massage therapist is working, you will be completely draped at all times. Not only is this the law, it is also very practical. Proper draping techniques not only help you maintain a comfortable temperature during your massage, but ensures that your modesty is NEVER compromised.
Are the therapist trained and how will I know if they are any good? Great question. Every massage therapist working at Prehab Massage has had formal massage therapy training and has been licensed by the State of Tennessee. Beyond this, we only hire top quality massage therapists who show a high level of proven natural ability. Our philosophy of having a highly trained team of massage therapists allows you to schedule massages around your schedule, not around a particular therapist.
